Midget Vallance Aunt Rosies Report

AMHERST NY-
The Peak Performance Midget Girls fastball team bowed out of the annual Aunt Rosies tournament in Buffalo after 5 games last weekend. Peak had finished their pool play as the 6th seed out of 14 teams winning 2 of 3 games played on Saturday but did not have a good Sunday AM dropping both encounters and knocked out of the tourney.

Gators 5th in Columbus Stingray Showcase

COLUMBUS-The Guelph Peak Performance Midget Gator Girls made it to the quarter finals of the Ohio Stingray Showcase tournament before bowing out of the 32 team event recently. The Gators battled the 100 degree heat with a shortened bench missing Jess Turnbull (Team Ontario commitment) and Tori Patteson (injury) to open some eyes as the only Canadian entrant in the field with their finish.

Peak dropped a 5-0 decision to the Indiana Shockwaves to be eliminated with Alissa Petrosoniak allowing only 2 earned runs of her 5 in the game. The Gator bats went silent for the first time on…

GATOR GIRLS WIN KITCHENER MIDGET TOURNEY

KITCHENER: The Peak Performance Midget Gator Girls went undefeated in the recent K-W Cornerstone Classic to win the championship of their division over the long weekend of Canada Day. The Gators won all 5 of their contests including a 7-0 whitewash of Enniskillen in the finale on Sunday July 1st.
In the final Peak hurler Alissa Petrosoniak was dominant in her 6 innings allowing only 3 hits and recording 4 strikeouts for the win. At the plate Aaliyah Davidson got the Gators off to a great start with a long homer to left in the 1st inning and Emily Cava…

Compuware Report-Midget Vallance

CANTON MICHIGAN:
The Guelph Peak Performance Midget Gators took part in the prestigious Compuware Showcase tournament over the weekend south of the border. In the 32 team event the Peak girls had a very solid showing finishing 9th among 32 selected teams and were the top Canadian team in their category at finish time.

Mississauga USSSA Tourney June 2-3

MISSISSAUGA: The Guelph Peak Performance Midget Girls fastball team made it to the semi finals of the recent USSSA Mississauga Southwest qualifying tourney before losing a tough 5-3 decision in an extra inning affair. Enniskillen who beat the Gators advanced to the finals and defeated Quebec to win the title.

Halton Hills Tourney May 25-27

HALTON HILLS:
The Guelph Peak Performance Midget Gator girls had a great showing in the recent Halton Hills tourney going undefeated all the way to the finals before dropping a 2-1 decision to the other Guelph team at this age group.

In the quarter finals on Sunday AM the Peak girls domainated Mississauga North 7-0 to advance. Alissa Petrosoniak had a two hit shutout fanning 3 in getting the win while teammates Sam McMahon, Melissa Cook and Alanna Hentges all had 2 hits in the 11 hit attack.

Peak Performance Gators Action May 12-15

BRANTFORD MAY 12-13TH:
The Guelph Peak Performance Midget Gators had a rough weekend in Brantford finishing up 1-3 in pool play in their annual tournament and not advancing to the playoff round on Sunday afternoon.
Peak opened up losing a couple of early leads and dropping a 5-4 decision to the provincial team from Quebec. Enniskillen Invitational – May 6th

ENNISKILLEN- The Guelph Peak Performance Midget Gator girls got off to a great start on Sunday winning all 3 games at a 1 day round robin invitational tourney down in Enniskillen Township in Southwestern Ontario.

The Peak girls downed Brantford 4-0 in their first game of the season paced by Amy Campagnolo’s 3 hit shutout.
