Select Tryout dates have been announced.

Minor Mite – CANCELLED make up date and time will be announce soon.

Mite – Wednesday May 3rd, 6:00 – 7:30pm at Margaret Greene S3

Novice – Wednesday May 3rd, 6:00 – 7:30pm at Margaret Greene S4

Squirt – Thursday May 4th, 6:00 – 7:30pm at Lyons Park Softball 1

Player/Coaches Clinic

Player and coaches clinics will take place on April 23rd, 2017 from 12:30-2:30 pm at Taylor Evans Public School.

Players in the Squirt division and below are welcome to join to receive group instruction in fielding and hitting fundamentals from some of our Gator instructors/coaches.

Coaches are also encouraged to attend and participate in the clinic. At the end of the clinic coaches will be receiving their handbooks along with other materials for the upcoming 2017 season.

Tax Receipts

Enrollment in GMSA softball is an allowed expense for Child Fitness Tax Credit and possibly other tax credits.  Consult your tax advisor for details.

If you would like a copy of your tax receipt, please follow the instructions in the document at this link.  It leads you through logging into QuickEnrollment and emailing and/or printing off the tax receipt.   You can do this for any year you enrolled via QuickEnrollments (so far, 2014, 2015 and 2016).

2017 Bantam Team

2017 Rep Team Tryouts

Below is the tryout schedule for the 2017 Gator Rep teams.

Please keep checking this post as dates and times may change.  The Gator organization will do its best to offer 2 teams in all divisions, with the exception of Mite.  You must attend 2 of 3 tryouts to be selected for a team.  The first team will be selected after a minimum of 2 tryouts and a max of 3.  Players not selected for the first team will continue to attend tryouts on the dates listed for that Division.  Not all dates may be utilized and the Gator organization may change or cancel the dates listed as necessary.

Please click the following link to register for the tryouts, as this helps our coaches ensure we have enough evaluators at each session.  Registration is not required to attend tryouts.

Gators make Team Ontario!

The whole of the Guelph Minor Softball Association would like to extend our proudest congratulations to four of our own from our Midget team:

  • Bryanna Kressler
  • Rainey Psenicka
  • Presly Buchanan
  • Cami Sinclair

They have just been named to the Team Ontario Softball team!!  These young ladies have worked very hard to get there, and they deserve all the praise, congratulations, and admiration such a nomination delivers!  We are VERY proud of these athletes and we definitely look forward to watching them grow even more in softball with this amazing opportunity.
